We are delighted to announce we will be run a 5 day Sync Intensive course online with 6 places for those living in Ontario and 2 places for those living further afield from June 22nd – June 26th 2020.

For those who applied for the Toronto programme in March, we will be in touch to discuss if you still want your application to be considered for the online programme. A new deadline for applying for a place on the programme is June 1st 2020.

About Sync

Sync Leadership is a disabled-led programme exploring Deaf and disabled leadership, founded in 2009 by Sarah Pickthall and Jo Verrent, two disabled leaders based in the UK.

Combining leadership theory with one to one coaching, Sync develops Deaf and disabled leadership in arts, culture, heritage and media particularly important to do in these changing challenging times. Sync has successfully run programmes in Australia, South Korea, Singapore and the UK.

Sync Canada will be conducted in English with all access, interpretation and formats provided to meet access requirements.

Sarah is an artist, consultant and executive individual and team coach. She is currently studying for an MSc in Coaching and Behaviour Change at Henley Business School, UK. For the last 12 years she has run – a disability, art and inclusion agency. She has also worked for the last 5 years as producer for Deaf artist, Chisato Minamimura

Jo leads on the delivery of Unlimited full time, maintaining the workflow of the team and managing the impact the work has both in the UK and more widely. Jo travels nationally and internationally, promoting the programme and the artists. She is responsible for fundraising, financial monitoring and reporting across the programme

Sync Canada will be:

Conducted in English with all access, interpretation and formats provided to meet all access requirements

  • A Canadian resident
  • Available on all five days from 22nd June – 26th June 2020
