Audability are a professional band supported by Drake Music Scotland, who compose and perform their own brand of rock music with songs that have tinges of latin, funk and Scottish traditional folk thrown in.

Audability are:

David Christopher After performing with various bands in the Edinburgh & Lothians area, David studied at the RSAMD. From 1981 onwards, he wrote and directed music in productions at Theatre Workshop and from 1989 David worked as a freelance composer, notably on the Dundee Arts Centre production of Not Walking On The Cracks, which won a Capital Award in Edinburgh during 1995. A new production was mounted at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen in 2004. David's association with Drake Music Scotland began in 2000.

John McAdie John trained as sound engineer and composer at The Brunton Theatre and went on to perform in the Edinburgh Festivals and many community based productions. John joined Channel 4 Television as a trainee sound technician and for the year of this post he worked extensively around the UK’s top studios. John now focuses all his energy on Audability, composing Scottish music and working in his studio.

Larry Sanderson Larry studied violin at Cheethams School of Music, and went onto The Northern College of Music, both in Manchester. On leaving college Larry worked as a professional musician working in many different settings and educational projects. Bands included Contos, Wild Cigarillos, and Waulk Electric. Following a serious accident in 1993, Larry is making music again now, as keyboard player in Audability.

Rick Bamford Drummer, percussionist, performer, MD, facilitator, and technical officer are just some of the hats Rick has worn over 18 years in association with Drake Music Scotland. He has also produced and been central to some of Scotland’s most creative and influential groups and ensembles, including Mr McFall’s Chamber, GIO, Bag o’ Cats, Hamish Moore & Dick Lee to name a few. Rick continues to perform and play and runs music sessions in the mental health sector.
